What we most appreciated about Susan is her friendly calm demeanor - how, when problems emerge, she handles them smoothly and carefully. She is assertive on the part of her clients, but she knows how not to ruffle the feathers; she gets the job done. This was particularly important to us in COVID times, when it was tricky to show our house safely. She sat in the sweltering Austin sun wearing a mask and talked to us for more than an hour! She priced our house correctly and got us over asking price, all within a couple of weeks. Along with Chase, her assistant, she made the process relatively painless. It's important to have such a cool head at the helm of such large transactions, and we deeply appreciate how she handled all of the issues we were faced with. As a first time homebuyer, I feel super lucky to have found Susan and Whittney. They took the time to figure out exactly what level of guidance I needed throughout the home buying process. They were available and extremely responsive when it came to answering my questions (some seemingly obvious in retrospect). Susan and Whittney were very helpful in communicating the nuances of the Austin market: accelerated timelines, buyer + seller dynamics and neighborhood insights. Throughout the entire process, I felt that they were 100% looking out for my best interest. Specially, I was concerned with formulating competitive offers/asks, without buying my way through the process. Not only did they help me but they were very transparent about it. Walking me through their research and reasoning. It was extremely comforting, especially as a first time homebuyer. I love the home that they helped me get, but I can confidently say that I would be lucky to have them guide me through my next home buying experience.
