What we most appreciated about Susan is her friendly calm demeanor - how, when problems emerge, she handles them smoothly and carefully. She is assertive on the part of her clients, but she knows how not to ruffle the feathers; she gets the job done. This was particularly important to us in COVID times, when it was tricky to show our house safely. She sat in the sweltering Austin sun wearing a mask and talked to us for more than an hour! She priced our house correctly and got us over asking price, all within a couple of weeks. Along with Chase, her assistant, she made the process relatively painless. It's important to have such a cool head at the helm of such large transactions, and we deeply appreciate how she handled all of the issues we were faced with. We used Susan as our realtor in our recent move from Birmingham. She was terrific, very easy to get along with, incredible attention to detail and very accessible as we were living out of state. We house hunted in Austin twice, and she made great use of our time with tours of the area and appropriate houses to scout. She was helpful with the negotiations and determining fair market value for the home. As we were out of town, Susan was at our new home during the inspection; she recommended contractors for the repairs and coordinated the majority of them. She even provided helpful referrals for doctors, hairdressers, etc. and left us a goody bag at our new house filled with Austin goodies.
