Hello all, I don't usually write up recommendations, but when somebody does an exceptional job for me, I want to thank them by making it known to others how much I appreciate the work they did for me and how they might benefit from that person's help as well. That is the case with Susan Avant, our Realtor. Susan Avant handled the selling of our beloved 804 condo and did a superior job handling all aspects of it. There wasn't a single question that we could come up with that Susan didn't know the answer immediately. All of her feedback turned out to be spot on. Her experience is 10 miles deep. To us, that is the key to making sure the transaction goes smoothly. In our mind, knowing how to handle situations that pop up in realtime quickly and correctly is what separates the pros from the others. She was highly responsive - even at night, weekends, and whenever the situation called for it. Susan also aggressively marketed our condo - without us even asking her to. For example, imagine our surprise when we found our condo on the back cover of the Compass full-color magazine! In addition, she marketed our property to contacts in other geographies such as Houston. Many buyers in Austin come from other geographies. That "getting the word out" maximized our exposure and ultimately helped find interested buyers. My wife and I strongly recommend Susan for any residential real estate effort you may have!

We used Susan as our realtor in our recent move from Birmingham. She was terrific, very easy to get along with, incredible attention to detail and very accessible as we were living out of state. We house hunted in Austin twice, and she made great use of our time with tours of the area and appropriate houses to scout. She was helpful with the negotiations and determining fair market value for the home. As we were out of town, Susan was at our new home during the inspection; she recommended contractors for the repairs and coordinated the majority of them. She even provided helpful referrals for doctors, hairdressers, etc. and left us a goody bag at our new house filled with Austin goodies. It was a great experience working with her, and I highly recommend her services.

We can’t say enough about Susan and how great our experience with her was! Susan helped us find a beautiful home in Austin when we thought it wouldn’t be possible. Since we were living in San Antonio during our search, we were only able to view homes on the weekends. Susan sacrificed most of her Saturdays so we could view upwards of 10 homes every weekend for weeks on end and remained positive and realistic throughout. She has been doing this for ages and it shows; her knowledge of the Austin area is invaluable and she gave us great advice to help us steer clear of any real estate pitfalls. I’ve known Susan Avant for quite a while as our sons were in school together. I specifically selected Susan because she’s always been very positive and knowledgeable about her profession. Her professionalism is a source of confidence in her for me. I feel she was discreet and confidential in her dealings with us both in giving a fair assessment of our house to be sold and her advice in the house we chose to have built. During the construction process, she went above and beyond in attending construction meetings, advising us on selections and reassuring us as we progressed through the process. I doubt every realtor would have been as attentive. Selling our house proved to be a challenge, but she reassured us, giving us advice along the way as to how we might improve the marketing of our house. It took a while in a competitive market, but she kept us abreast of changes, competing homes, and in the end, guided us as we made our decision on a buyer. I highly recommend Susan Avant.

Monica Jones was such a pleasure to work with as our realtor. She sat down with me and talked me through the whole process months before we bought our house. She sent different houses from my partner and I to look over and we were able to see these houses quickly after. She was able to identify things that we should be looking out for and encouraged us to see past ugly paint colors and other cosmetic issues. She was there every step of the way from each offer we put in until closing. She was such a delight and I felt so relieved having her as our realtor. My wife and I worked with Susan on the purchase of our second home in Austin. We cannot recommend Susan enough! Buying a home is a remarkably stressful process. Susan did a great job putting our minds at ease and was always available to answer questions or bounce ideas off of. She was very generous with her time and didn't try to push us into a home that we were not 100% happy with. She really does have her client's best interest at heart. In the end, Susan helped us to negotiate not only a lower price, but also a new roof for our home (after the inspector uncovered some hail damage).
