During the construction process, she went above and beyond in attending construction meetings, advising us on selections and reassuring us as we progressed through the process. Hello all, I don't usually write up recommendations, but when somebody does an exceptional job for me, I want to thank them by making it known to others how much I appreciate the work they did for me and how they might benefit from that person's help as well. That is the case with Susan Avant, our Realtor. Susan Avant handled the selling of our beloved 804 condo and did a superior job handling all aspects of it. There wasn't a single question that we could come up with that Susan didn't know the answer immediately. All of her feedback turned out to be spot on. Her experience is 10 miles deep. To us, that is the key to making sure the transaction goes smoothly. In our mind, knowing how to handle situations that pop up in realtime quickly and correctly is what separates the pros from the others. She was highly responsive - even at night, weekends, and whenever the situation called for it. Susan also aggressively marketed our condo - without us even asking her to. For example, imagine our surprise when we found our condo on the back cover of the Compass full-color magazine! In addition, she marketed our property to contacts in other geographies such as Houston. Many buyers in Austin come from other geographies. We’ve worked with Susan on two houses since 2009 and both were great experiences. As these things go, the negotiations required a lot of communication and she was very responsive.
